The Luxury Icons

of MonteNapoleone District

A Journey of Legacy, Cultural Dialogue, and Contemporary Excellence

The Luxury Icons is a curated initiative that explores how fashion, lifestyle, and culture evolve through the relationship between heritage and innovation.

Launched in Milan’s MonteNapoleone District during a key moment for the city — as it hosts the Winter Sport Games — the project marks the beginning of a continuing journey that will unfold across Milan Fashion & Design Week in the years to come, bringing together iconic luxury brands and creative voices from around the world.

The initiative highlights:

  • The backstage of luxury — revealing the people, values, and long-term visions behind established brands

  • The shared threads of legacy — connecting generations, craftsmanship, and cultural identity across borders

  • The role of Milan — as a global platform where fashion, sport, and culture intersect

Through visual storytelling, artistic interpretation, and public activations, The Luxury Icons offers a contemporary perspective on what luxury represents today — not simply as a product, but as a language of meaning, identity, and creative evolution.

“Memory Brick” – An Artistic Italian Storytelling

The 2026 inaugural chapter opens with a powerful visual prologue by internationally acclaimed artist and image-maker Chen Man. Her contribution — titled “Memory Brick” — is a conceptual exhibition that reimagines Italian luxury through the lens of cultural dialogue.

Each selected Luxury Icon is represented through a pair of images:

  • The first is a heritage visual, offering an intimate and evocative glimpse into the brand’s spirit — a fragment of meaning, memory, or imagination

  • The second is a “Memory Brick”, created by Chen Man — a symbolic and artistic interpretation that captures that same spirit through her distinctive visual language

Together, these visual pairings form a poetic and layered narrative — a dialogue between artist and maison, heritage and innovation, legacy and vision.

Set within the MonteNapoleone District, the exhibition unfolds through large-scale imagery, physical installation, and digital storytelling, immersing the public in a journey of visual memory.
